Used Doosan Large Capacity Forklifts Pasadena

In modern manufacturing and construction industries, the lift truck is a crucial tool. The companies which utilize forklifts would understand their significance, their functional requirements, and the safety issues involved in forklift applications. Forklifts are a great investment which will increase productivity and efficiency in the workplace.

Significance
The lift truck offers an efficient and effective way to move products and goods. These modern equipment move a large variety of heavy goods in all types of environments. Forklifts are used to move heavy and bulky things that would otherwise need to be transported manually in smaller units.

Function
The racks of the lift truck can usually reach as high as 9 to 12 meters allowing for the efficient use of maximum storage capacity inside numerous warehouse or retail stores. The forks move down and up by a telescopic hydraulic cylinder on the forklift mast. Various sets of hydraulic cylinders are utilized to be able to tilt the mast and shift it to the side, for positioning. A telescopic hydraulic cylinder is a kind of attachment that allows an even higher lift using a hydraulic cylinder system that functions much similar to a telescope. Every section slides inside the other similar to sections of a telescope.

Features
Separate levers control the up and down, tilt, and side shift. To lift the forks, the driver pulls back on the down and up lever. To lower the forks, the operator pushes the lever forward. Tilt the load back by pulling back the lever, push it forward to tilt the load forward. The side shift lever controls the forks left and right movement. Unlike cars, forklifts steer from the rear tires. This allows the forklift to turn in a very small radius. The forward and reverse controls of the transmission are found on the steering column.
