Introducing the new SRX Platinum Series of reach trucks has become part of the North American market. The launch in Australia is scheduled to follow very soon.
The SRX Platinum Series is available in 3 capacities. These load capacities range from 1360 kg to 2000. The system was made because of intensive operator participation on the design. These factors played a huge part to guarantee its acceptance into the hugely competitive reach truck market within the US. Because of a low step height, exit and entry is simplified. The side stance design makes forward and reverse driving a comfortable experience for the operator. The unit is complete with a gently sloped floorboard that is in place to sit over 4 vibration isolators. This design offers a relaxed driving position for the operator in a standing shift. Moreover, the SRX Platinum Series offers a cushioned floor mat to provide a ride which is more enjoyable and smoother.
The dual spring suspension system in the caster design adds to the overall smoothness of the drive. The suspension also provides a much more stable operation during use on rough or uneven driving surfaces. The thick padding located beneath the operator's arm enhances the total comfort factor further. There is a height adjustable knee pad and cushioned backrest in place also. The rear overhead guard post and the high operator backrest on the SRX Series provide extra operator protection. This is specially important when working in tight and around racking locations.
Nissan's lift trucks have been made with the intuitive and ergonomically designed interior with a multi-function handle, which helps to achieve accurate control while reducing operator comfort. Several of the Operational commands consist of drive, lift and lower, horn, side-shift or other auxiliary function and reach are capable of being performed and executed using this single handle.
